Bush Knew Bin Laden Murdered in 2001
Bin Laden Death Deemed Murder of CIA Case Officer as 9/11 Coverup
By Gordon Duff, Veterans Today
President George W. Bush knew Osama bin Laden was a CIA agent and in no way ever involved in 9/11.
He knew bin Laden personally from family visits and knew bin Laden had been to the White House while living in the US under the cover name of “Tim Osmon.”
This has been verified by CIA officials.
Bush also knew bin Laden died on December 13, 2001.

No Exit For Bilderbergers – Imagining A World Without Bilderbergers
From Video Rebel's Blog:
Imagining A World Without Bilderbergers is the first step to removing them from our lives.
If there were no Bilderbergers, we could outlaw the Transportation Security Administration and let the airlines take responsibility for passenger safety. Imagine a world where the TSA is not allowed to grope men, women and children inside their underwear every time they go to the airport or now even attend a football game.
If there were no Bilderbergers, we could outlaw Threat Fusion Centers and Infragard which merge the worst aspects of detention without trial with corporate cronyism. Infragard actually allows private corporations to kill American citizens. Do you really want to live in a world where the Fortune 100 companies can have people thrown into prison without trial, tortured and even killed because the Uber Rich made a tax deductible bribe to a politician?
If there were no Bilderbergers, we could repeal the Patriot and Military Commissions Acts. We could repeal the section of the NDAA which permits indefinite detention without trial.
If there were no Bilderbergers, we could make it illegal to harm consumers with any product. This would outlaw aspartame, MSG, Bisphenol A, mercury and live viruses in vaccines. Fluoridation of water would be gone too. We could require all drugs be tested for both benefits and side effects against home remedies. Test 50,000 IU a week of Vitamin D3 against vaccines and see what happens.

CHOMSKY on WIKILEAKS
Video.
"Julian Assange should be congratulated for carrying out the responsibilities of a citizen in democratic societies, where the population should be aware of what their selected representatives are doing and planning.
The Wikileaks revelations have surely advanced such awareness and understanding, and are a valuable contribution for that reason".

U.S. Racial and Economic Inequality, Visualized
From Colorlines:
Sometimes design can make unsavory information a little bit more accessible, if not more palatable. We’re enjoying this infographic we saw over at Sociological Images that breaks down some of the more famous and familiar findings in gender and racial inequality in this country in everything from housing to education and employment. But we’ll stop here. (The other thing about good design is the way it eliminates the need for lots of explanatory text.)

If You See Something, Film Something (Recording The Police is a Dangerous but Necessary Thing to Do)
http://www.facebook.com/TruthBeKnownRevolution
This video was created as an example of the importance of filming the police. Video provides transparency, accountability, and an accurate account of incidents that occur. It is no secret that the United States has a serious problem with police abuse, brutality, and corruption. It is essential for civilians to document their encounters with police officers to ensure transparency, accountability, and safety to all of those involved.
Police departments have, for too long, tried to bully, intimidate, threaten, arrest, or otherwise harass law abiding citizens from recording the activities of law enforcement in public. Enough is enough! It is time for all of us to take a stand and expose police brutality when we witness it. Even if the officers behavior is correct, and justifiable, we still encourage the recording of the police activities for the transparency and accountability that is desperately needed in many departments.
If you see something, film something, the freedom of press begins with you!

Justice for Assange: Extradition appeal kicks off in UK top court
The world's top whistleblower has taken his long legal battle to stay in the UK to the country's Supreme Court, where he is appealing extradition to Sweden. Julian Assange is wanted on allegations of sexual assault dating back to August 2010, which he denies. The Wikileaks founder insists the case is politically motivated, and a response to his website publishing secret U.S. cables on wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. RT's Laura Smith is at the High Court in London.

The seed emergency: The threat to food and democracy
Vandana Shiva writes for Al-Jazeera:
Besides displacing and destroying diversity, patented GMO seeds are also undermining seed sovereignty. Across the world, new seed laws are being introduced which enforce compulsory registration of seeds, thus making it impossible for small farmers to grow their own diversity, and forcing them into dependency on giant seed corporations. Corporations are also patenting climate resilient seeds evolved by farmers - thus robbing farmers of using their own seeds and knowledge for climate adaptation.
Another threat to seed sovereignty is genetic contamination. India has lost its cotton seeds because of contamination from Bt Cotton - a strain engineered to contain the pesticide Bacillus thuringiensis bacterium. Canada has lost its canola seed because of contamination from Roundup Ready canola. And Mexico has lost its corn due to contamination from Bt Cotton.
After contamination, biotech seed corporations sue farmers with patent infringement cases, as happened in the case of Percy Schmeiser. That is why more than 80 groups came together and filed a case to prevent Monsanto from suing farmers whose seed had been contaminated.
As a farmer's seed supply is eroded, and farmers become dependent on patented GMO seed, the result is debt. India, the home of cotton, has lost its cotton seed diversity and cotton seed sovereignty. Some 95 per cent of the country's cotton seed is now controlled by Monsanto - and the debt trap created by being forced to buy seed every year - with royalty payments - has pushed hundreds of thousands of farmers to suicide; of the 250,000 farmer suicides, the majority are in the cotton belt.

World Social Forum Supports Venezuela’s Revolution
Venezuela’s socialist revolution was both highlighted and defended this weekend as the global summit of social, economic, and environmental justice movements known as the World Social Forum (WSF) came to a close. With some 40,000 activists gathered to discuss anti-capitalist alternatives to the world economic crisis, participants stressed the importance of Venezuela’s Bolivarian Revolution and the leadership role played by President Hugo Chavez in proving that “another world is possible”.
“GREEN CAPITALISM” VS. DEMOCRACY & SOCIALISM
Having convened their forum in the context of Rio+20 – the United Nations (UN) summit on “sustainable development” to be held in Rio de Janeiro later this year – those gathered at the 2012 World Social Forum largely focused their discussions on the current debate between “green capitalism” and the wide array of grassroots justice initiatives that make up democratic alternatives including Venezuela’s Bolivarian Socialism.
World Social Forum supports Venezuela’s Revolution According to Venezuelan sociologist Edgardo Lander, professor at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and participant in last week’s WSF, “the Rio+20 conference is to be held at a time of profound crises for capitalism, a time in which the severe problems of limited growth and the destruction of life-producing conditions on the planet have become ever more obvious”.

2011's anti-capitalist protests and Arab spring made everything seem possible. But will 2012 bring real change? The key is turning rebellion into coherent political vision.

Subsidy matter: How did Artists occupy Nigeria?
From Japhet Alakam, Vanguard:
Last week, Nigerian artists met at the Centre for Contemporary Art, CCA,Yaba, Lagos to review the roles of members of the clime during the infamous one week national strike called by labour to challenge Federal government’s removal of subsidy.
On the 1st of January, what was supposed to be a special day to people all over the world turned sour for many Nigerians as the Jonathan led Federal Government announced the removal of fuel subsidy, which led to sharp increase in the price of fuel from N65 to N141.
And as a fall out to that, many people took to the streets in protest over the news and on January 9, the Nigerian Labour Congress and Trade Unions and other civil organisations declared a national strike, which brought governance and economy to their knees.

James Joyce pub riddle solved
An Irish software developer believes he has solved James Joyce's near century-old riddle of how to walk across Dublin without passing a pub.
Rory McCann, 27, claims he has settled decades of debate about the puzzle in Joyce's masterpiece Ulysses with a simple equation proving that it can be done.
Using online maps, the Dubliner worked out an algorithm - a computer equation - which found how to criss-cross the capital, from north to south and east to west, away from the temptation of any pub.
