Occupy Wall Street: EU power message to Gen'l Assemblies about Am Revolution II

Exclusive: EU citizens send powerful message to Occupy Wall Street General Assemblies

Wednesday, responding to Deborah Dupré's Examiner article, "Viva Revolution: 1500 rights defenders Re-Occupy Wall Street," the European Citizens Network sent a message, emailed from Athens Greece to Dupré, for Occupy Wall Street human rights defenders' General Assemblies, commeding the direct democracy assemblies and offering support during what seems to be the American Revolution II. The message is based on the profound and multidimensional crisis that the whole world is now experiencing and will be presented at an upcoming meeting of the Hellenic American Democratic Association in Athens.

"There is a general recognition even in the mass media today that the liberal democratic political system is in terminal crisis and that what is needed are new forms of citizens’ democracy, direct democracy, deliberative democracy. There are many names for it," the message from European Citizens Network states in its written statement emailed to Deborah Dupré Wednesday. ...
