Kucinich: Who told SEC to "stand down" on Stanford probe?

Chairman of the Domestic Policy Subcommittee, Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) today sent a letter to Ms. Mary Schapiro, Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requesting documents that could reveal which government agency told the SEC to “stand down” rather than take enforcement action against the Stanford Group in October 2006 as has been reported by the New York Times.

Recent media reports have indicated that the SEC was aware of improprieties at Stanford Financial Group as early as October 2006, but withheld action at the request of another government agency.

In a report published in the February 17th edition of the New York Times, an SEC official said that an inquiry had been opened on Stanford in October of 2006. According to the Times report, an associate regional director of enforcement said the SEC “stood down” on its investigation as a result of the intervention of another federal agency.

Stanford is now the focus of an $8 billion fraud investigation and, presumably, an earlier inquiry would have spared many Stanford investors and triggered similar inquiries into other funds which lacked transparency.

“The SEC's recent filing against Stanford stemmed from the 2006 SEC inquiry that had been apparently shelved at the request of the unnamed agency. If this is true, we must find out why the SEC delayed enforcement, and if there were other cases where other government agencies intervened to block enforcement,” Chairman Kucinich said.

FBI is probing money laundering linked to narco-trafficking Cartel to Allen Stanford

The FBI is probing possible money laundering linked to Mexico's infamous narco-trafficking Gulf Cartel in its investigation of Texan billionaire Sir Allen Stanford, US law enforcement sources have told the Observer.

An FBI source close to the investigation would not give exact details but confirmed the agency was looking at links to international drug gangs as part of the huge investigation into Stanford's banking activities. Reports in the US have said Mexican authorities have detained one of Stanford's private planes as part of an investigation into possible links to the Gulf Cartel. It has been alleged cheques found inside the plane were linked to the cartel, which is one of the most violent criminal organisations in the world.

Sources in the US Drug Enforcement Administration also confirmed that while the investigations into Stanford's affairs were “with the FBI and Securities Exchange Commission, there may well have been a trail connecting his Mexican affairs to narco-trafficking interests. So far as we understand from information partially in the public domain, this has pertained to the Gulf Cartel, and items found aboard a private light aircraft. I think we'll find that any possible drug-related trail and SEC priorities are not all in the same frame.”

Warning against adverse health effects from the operation of digital broadcast

In the US, digital broadcast television is scheduled to start operating on February 17, 2009. We  write to you today  because  we  wish  to  save  you  from  the  significant  negative  health  consequences that have occurred here in Germany.  In  Germany,  analog  broadcast  television  stations  have  gradually  been  switching  to  digital  broadcast  signals  since  2003.  This  switchover  first  took  place  in  metropolitan  areas.  In  those areas, however, the RF exposures in public places as well as at home continued to increase at  the same time. As a result, the continuing declining health status of children, adolescents, and  adults in urban areas could not be attributed to any single cause. On May 20, 2006, two digital broadcast television stations went on the air in the Hessian Rhoen  area  (Heidelstein,  Kreuzberg),  which  until  recently  had  enjoyed  rather  low  mobile  phone  radiation  exposure  levels.  Within  a  radius  of  more  than  20  km,  the  following  symptoms  that  occurred abruptly were reported: constant headaches, pressure in the head, drowsiness, sleep problems, inability to think clearly,  forgetfulness, nervous tensions, irritability, tightness in the chest, rapid heartbeat, shortness of  breath,  depressive  mood,  total  apathy,  loss  of  empathy,  burning  skin,  inner  burning,  leg  weakness, pain in the limbs, stabbing pain in various organs, weight increase.

Birds had fled the area. Cats had turned phlegmatic and hardly ever went into the garden. One  child committed suicide; a second child tried doing it.    Over  time  the  same  unbearable  symptoms  showed  up  in  other  locations—most  recently  in  Bamberg and Aschaffenburg on November 25, 2008. Physicians accompanied affected people to  areas  where  there  was  no  DVB‐T  reception  (valleys,  behind  mountain  ranges)  and  witnessed  how these people became symptom‐free only after a short period of time.  The respective agencies responsible in Germany were approached for help, but they declined to  follow  up  on  the  strongly  suggestive  evidence  in  the  actual  locations. The  behavior  of  the  government  agencies  disregards  the  fundamental  rights  of  affected  people  guaranteed  in  the  German Constitution.

The Web Bot Project and 2012

Maybe some of you have heard of The Web Bot Project, but for those of you who have not, it's quite intriguing.

The Web Bot Project, developed in the late 1990's, was created to assist in making stock market predictions.

The technology uses a system of spiders to crawl the Internet and search for keywords, much like a search engine does. When a keyword is located, the bot program takes a snapshot of the text preceding and following the keyword. This snapshot of text is sent to a central location where it is then filtered to define meaning.

The projects concept is aimed at tapping into the "collective unconscious" of the universe and it's inhabitants. As well, there is an interesting time concept involved and an unusual concept of a "tipping point" regarding the past, current, and future times. It goes a bit deeper than viewing what those of us on the Internet are saying.

But in 2001, bot operators began to notice that stock market predictions were not the only matters being accurately predicted by the program. They began to take notice of coincidence with occurrences and explored it further.

One of the first accurate predictions from the bot program took place in June of 2001. The program predicted that a life altering event would take place within the next 60-90 days. An occurrence of such proportion that it's effects would be felt worldwide. The program based it's prediction on "web chatter" which ultimately represents the collective unconscious of society...

Regrettably, the bot program's prediction proved accurate and the Twin Towers fell on 9/11/2001.
