General Refusal to Pay Taxes If Relief Is Not Soon Granted

Paris, June 1.— Marcélin Albert, the leader of the winegrowers’ agitation in Southern France, does not place much reliance in the Governmental promises of relief. He continues to organize his forces with a view to a general refusal to pay taxes after June 10, if the promises are not put in action by that date.
