Neal Cassady: The Denver Years

About this project:

A documentary based on the autobiographical accounts of Neal Cassady, his troubled youth in Denver and the crucial role that he played in the germination of American beat culture.
Neal Cassady was a charismatic, larger then life character. His charm, manic energy, sexual swagger, and free flowing verbosity made him the authentic ‘hero’ of the beat generation. He was introduced to the world as Dean Moriarty in Jack Kerouac’s classic, On The Road. For the controversial literary figures, Allen Ginsberg, Ken Kesey, Tom Wolfe and Hunter S. Thompson he was more then a friend he was their muse and inspiration.

By being just himself, Neal Cassady created a foundation for the beat generation and set the wheels in motion for the counter culture revolutions that would open up the floodgates for decades of free thinkers to follow.

The First Third is a collection of Cassady’s autobiographical musings. Within these works, we glimpse into the creation of Neal Cassady, the man and the myth, and his tumultuous and humble beginnings as a vagrant’s child on the streets of Denver at a time when the city still echoed America’s Wild West. We journey back to see what shaped the most infamous 20th century muse, and examine the love affair between Denver, a culture in transition, and the some of the most influential writers of our time.

'Banksy-enhanced' poster ripped down in Los Angeles

A graffiti-enhanced poster attributed to secretive British artist Banksy was ripped down on Wednesday in Hollywood, amid sightings of other pieces in a reported pre-Oscars publicity campaign in Los Angeles.

Banksy is nominated for best documentary for Exit Through the Gift Shop at the Oscars, due to be announced on February 27 at the climax of Tinseltown's annual awards season.

And the elusive artist, whose identity is not publicly known, is suspected of being behind a number of Banksy-style graffiti pieces that have cropped up over the past few days.

Cinema in the End Time

Great video from 'Cinemaseekers', according to whom:

"This episode confronts the viewer with the question: "Is mankind living in the End-Time?" Fusing cinema with a spiritual quest, it presents the New Revolutionary Knowledge, which illuminates the nature of the time we are living in. This is the 2nd part of an episode in [the] ongoing series "Cinemaseekers: A Spiritual Journey Through Cinema".

The series' creator Maria Wagner is a bilingual (Russian-American) filmmaker, who also co-directed a feature film "Return To Light: A Spiritual Odyssey" that has been hailed by the great Russian filmmaker Alexander Sokurov as a "Light-bearing work", belonging to "such films as doubtlessly have to be made". She jointly runs a website CINEMASEEKERS.COM, which after more than 10 years on the Internet, has become a much used resource for film students, professors and art-film buffs."

Scott Kiloby is a "Non-Dual" author/teacher from Southern Indiana (USA). He is the author of "Love's Quiet Revolution: The End of the Spiritual Search" and "Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment." He is also the creator of a revolutionary addiction recovery method called Natural Rest. His book, "Natural Rest: Finding Recovery Through Presence," is scheduled for release in early 2011. In addition to details of his meetings and retreats, there are many essays, quotations and videos which can be viewed on his web site. He also holds frequent meetings all over the world, in person and online via Skype and teleconferencing.

To quote Scott, "We live our lives asleep. Our minds are programmed for self-centeredness. This programming causes us to spend our lives seeking the future for a sense of contentment we can't seem to find. It causes conflict in our relationships. To say that we live in self-centeredness is not a moral judgment. It's a statement of fact. The good news is that awakening from this self-centered dream is possible in this lifetime. This awakening reveals a depth of freedom and contentment that no relationship, job, material item, self-improvement plan, or any other accomplishment or attainment in the material world can bring. This level of freedom frees us from our endless seeking towards future. It frees us from conflict so that our real nature as love shines through, affecting every area of our lives."

Interview recorded 12/4/2010.

The Middle East & then the World

Globalist blitzkrieg signals largest geopolitical reordering since WW2.

Analysis by Tony Cartalucci

Beginning in North Africa, now unfolding in the Middle East and Iran, and soon to spread to Eastern Europe and Asia, the globalist fueled color revolutions are attempting to profoundly transform entire regions of the planet in one sweeping move. It is an ambitious gambit, perhaps even one born of desperation, with the globalists' depravity and betrayal on full display to the world with no opportunity to turn back now.

To understand the globalists' reasoning behind such a bold move, it helps to understand their ultimate end game and the obstacles standing between them and their achieving it.

The End Game

The end game of course is a world spanning system of global governance. This is a system controlled by Anglo-American financiers and their network of global institutions ensuring the world's consolidated nations conform to a singular system they can then perpetually fleece. As megalomaniacal oligarchs, their singular obsession is the consolidation and preservation of their power. This will be achieved through a system of population control, industrial control, and monetary control, which together form the foundation of their Malthusian policies.

These policies are on full display in the UN's "Agenda 21," and by policy wonks like the current White House Science Adviser John Holdren in his book titled "Ecoscience."

Malthusian as their policies may be, they surely do not believe the world is in danger due to over-population or the environmental hazards posed by industrial progress. Instead, like all tyrants in history, they are establishing a convincing narrative to defend the immense concentration of undue power within their elitist hands and the implementation of measures to ensure such power stays in their hands indefinitely.

The immediate dangers posed to their plans are numerous, including an alternative media increasingly exposing the true nature of their agenda, and thus awakening a vast number of people who simply refuse to go along with it. There is also national sovereignty, where nations are openly challenging this Anglo-American centric world order and refusing to implement the conditions of their own enslavement.
