A talk given by Ajit Pyati at a Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS) panel held Oct. 24, 2007 (University of Western Ontario). In it, Pyati addresses the post-9/11 war on terror in a U.S. library science context. He focuses his remarks on how the war has influenced American library services, government information policy and "the freedom to read." Also, Pyati discusses how information needs to be conceptualized in relation to its role on culture.
